Clients feedback

Margaret ran a two-day workshop at my school on diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. She was extraordinarily well-prepared, and the timing and pacing of the workshop played out perfectly. She was able to hold our hands in our journey through this complex and emotionally charged topic. She helped us put words to thoughts and feelings that had been difficult to surface in the past, and made the time and space for us to reflect on what we were experiencing and learning, and where we wanted to go in the future. Margaret's workshop was a positive experience for my community, and I hope to be able to continue to work with her on this and other topics in the future.

I have had the great privilege of learning from Margaret on several occasions, most recently through the ISS DEIJ Institute. Margaret's passion, conviction, and skill at facilitation shine through every workshop she leads. She understands how to invite participants into brave and vulnerable conversations so that we might reflect on who we are and how we can grow to be more inclusive and equitable educators and people. Margaret leads by example, and she is often the first person to share when she has learned something new herself- she truly demonstrates the concept of lifelong learning, and she inspires participants to commit to that journey with her.

I met Margaret during Implicit Bias training with Earcos. It was phenomenal and I learned so much that I asked her to facilitate a session at our school. Margaret is extremely passionate about the work and met with me ahead of time to ensure that she could design a session that met the specific needs of our school. She facilitated a session that prompted great discussion and provided resources that people could continue to explore. On a personal note, Margaret inspired me to explore facilitation and motivated me to continue to look for opportunities in the area of DEI. I look forward to many more opportunities to learn from her and alongside her.

I attended one of Margaret's sessions at the EARCOS Leadership Conference 2022 and wish I could have attended more. The session provided an overview of how we could explore our social identities and reflect on how they impact our social interactions and perceptions.
The session was provocative in generating thinking and reflecting as well as interactive. I could see how this would translate into a deeper exploration within schools' professional development/learning and helping shifting mindsets as schools/organizations explore issues and practices for inclusive practices in their context.

I appreciate Margaret’s facilitation style. She guides the participants through meaningful and interactive discussions and clearly communicates ideas. Margaret also provides feedback and creates a comfortable environment for people to openly share their thoughts.
